Dr. Sanjay specializes in arthroscopic (keyhole) and minimally invasive surgery,with speial interest in shoulder. His shoulder surgery uses advanced modern techniques for the management of shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tear,frozen shoulder, arthritis and sports injuries of the shoulder. In knee he has his expertise in ACL,PCL, meniscus repair,complex knee injuries.
Dr. Sanjay did his early medical schooling in Government Medical College, Cuttack and then went on to obtain his Masters degree in orthopedics from the prestigious government institute – GMC NAGPUR through all India ranking. During his tenure, he was a bright student with various national and international level paper presentations and won accolades. He represented his college in National Level Spine Quiz Contest and won 1st prize. Apart from this, he has won many state level quiz contests. During his residency days, he was part of a arthroscopic workshop held in his institute mentored by Professor Dr. Jai-Chul-Yu from South Korea, which imbibed in him the urge to choose arthroscopy as his speciality.
Post MS Orthopedics, he went to the prestigious Seth GS College and KEM Hospital Mumbai where he was trained under Prof. Dr. Roshan Wade and Prof. Dr. Mohan Desai. Dr. Roshan wade is a renowned arthroscopic surgeon of international repute, who has operated many celebrities.
